  Meningitis and invasive meningococcal diseases (IMD) are very serious and can lead to complications with physical and mental disability or even death. We will study the incidence, etiology and risk factors in a population-based setting. We will evaluate both acute and long-term health care resource use and costs. We will also evaluate how the IMD impacted patients’ education, income and life cycle.
