Special-assignment company of the Finnish state: commercial vaccine research and related expertise for the needs of society, public authorities, and vaccine manufacturers.

At FVR – Finnish Vaccine Research, we study the quality, safety and efficacy of vaccines with decades of experience and internationally recognized, high-quality scientific expertise. We study several different vaccines each year, and thousands of Finns participate voluntarily in the studies. In addition to this, we conduct large-scale register studies utilizing nationwide, comprehensive, and timely health information. These RWE studies will search for additional data on the effectiveness and potential side effects of vaccines after a commercial license has been obtained. The studies are based on real-world data (RWD) and help with understanding the effects of vaccines in widespread use.
