Network description
The constitution of EuroDURG was accepted by a General Assembly in 1996 at Balatonaliga. Since 2010 EuroDURG functions as the European branch of the Special Interest Group of Drug Utilization Research (SIG-DUR) within the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). Aims:Encourage communication and cooperation between scientists in several disciplines interested in DU research Work towards the adoption of standards for international and national DU research methodology. Maximise the potential of the information available on DU for improving patient carePromote the incorporation of DU research and its applications in educational programmes.Encourage health policy personnel to use drug utilisation studies to enhance the future quality and efficiency of prescribing. Activities&publications:Organize scientific meetings,educational sessions. Participate in research projects. Identify and communicate with individual DU researchers. Publish a yearly Bulletin.
