Pharmacoepi center, University of Southern Denmark

The University of Southern Denmark Pharmcoepi Center is a pharmacoepidemiological research group embedded within the department of clinical pharmacology and pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark.The group consists of app 18 persons,including senior epidemiologists,data managers,administrators and PhD students. Its research is focussed on applied,classical pharmacoepidemiology within a wide range of diseases and on method development within fields such as drug utilization research,self-controlled designs and screening of big data for unknown associations.The group has access to a wide range of nation-wide Danish data sources,including but not limited to the National Prescription Register,the National Patient Register and the Cancer Register. The scientific output is in the order of 70 peer-reviewed papers per year.
