Short description of the study population

Patients with mental health disorders and mental health professionals who will be assessed at three consecutive timepoints (April, June and September 2020) at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica (PHA) in Athens, Greece.

Study design details

Main study objective

To investigate the effects of the containment measures against COVID-19 on the mental health of patients and mental health professionals at a Psychiatric Hospital.

Outcomes

The investigation of the time X group interactions on the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and on the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) scores which will be assessed prospectively at three time points (April, June and September 2020). The effects of demographic and clinical variables on BDI and BAI total and item scores.

Data analysis plan

We will conduct an Analysis of Variance with Repeated Measures using the BDI and BAI scores.
