Description of the population covered by the data source in the catchment area whose data are not collected (e.g., people who are registered only for private care)

We collect data from Dutch citizens registered at GPs participating in Nivel Primary Care Database. We do not collect data from patients of other GPs, and from patients not registrered at a GP. Almost all Dutch citizens are registered at a GP, exceptions are patients living in nursing homes for example.
