Network description
The mission of the EAU UroEvidenceHub (UEH) is to improve patient care in urology by providing reliable insights from real-world clinical practice. The UEH is a federated network of real world data sources, dedicated to generating high-quality real-world evidence for urological conditions (onocological and non oncological).

Via the UEH Data Haven, the UEH connects multiple registries, observational cohorts, and data initiatives across the world, enabling collaborative research and supporting regulatory decision-making. The network is designed to store, integrate, and analyse data from diverse clinical settings while respecting privacy and data protection regulations. These are divided into projects, with the UEH currently housing and continuing several EU projects after the initial funding period has finished (e.g. PIONEER+ and PRAISE-U).

The network operates as a federated infrastructure. Data remain with the individual sources while standardized metadata and analytic tools allow for coordinated research and multi-center studies.

UEH is a collaborative ecosystem. It brings together academic institutions, healthcare providers, industry partners, and patient organisations. By harmonizing data standards and methods across member sources, the network ensures high-quality, reproducible evidence.

The platform began with prostate cancer via our projects PIONEER+ and ProReg (our prospective prostate cancer registry), and is now expanding to include screening images. In the future we will expand to more therapy areas, such as antimicrobial resistance and continence health.
