Centre for Maternal, Fetal and Infant Research (MFIR), Ulster University

The Centre for Maternal,Fetal and Infant Research (MFIR) at Ulster University has a programme of research including perinatal epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, maternal health and data linkage. The EUROmediCAT Coordinating Centre and EUROmediCAT central database is based within MFIR. EUROmediCAT is a collaborative network of congenital anomaly registries and institutions active in research on medication safety in pregnancy. MFIR is one of the public partners of the EU-IMI ConcePTION project. MFIR works with the congenital anomaly surveillance networks EUROCAT in Europe, RELAMC in Latin America, and sSCAN in sub Saharan Africa.
