Network description
RedIAPP is a network created in 2003 funded by Carlos III Institute of Health with 12 research groups from 8 autonomous communities. It has more than 200 researchers.Their goals are to generate knowledge that will benefit Primary Care,particularly on the efficacy,effectiveness and efficiency of new interventions in prevention and health promotion. RedIAPP aims also to disseminate knowledge so that the public,the scientific community and the services coordinators can integrate the prevention and apply the results to daily clinical practice and services management.From 2007 to 2012 it has developed 39 projects related to lifestyles promotion,cardiovascular risk factors,mental health,cancer and health services research. redIAPP collaborates with others research institutes and universities from Spain and Europe. It has published more than 138 papers.redIAPP offers the possibility to develop multicentre projects in Primary Health Care in Spain and expertise in the mentioned areas.
