OrphanDev

OrphanDev is a public-private network of expertise in the field of rare diseases. Labelled by F-CRIN, this initiative brings together around fifty stakeholders in the field of rare diseases, including academic, private, and civil society actors.
The development of the network stems from three main needs:
• The need for transversality: a space for dialogue and consultation to enhance complementarity and efficiency
• The need for greater integration between industrial and academic sectors by improving dialogue and processes: a public-private interface
• The need for supportive expertise to accelerate the availability of innovations for patients: removing administrative, regulatory, and legal barriers
