UBC is a leader in clinical and epidemiologic services for pharma, biotech and medical device companies. We incorporate an epidemiologic approach to collect, analyze and communicate data on disease natural history, clinical practice patterns and product safety, effectiveness and value. Our projects vary in design, complexity and size, including prospective cohort and case-control studies, disease, product and pregnancy registries, cross-sectional and longitudinal surveys, retrospective studies of medical charts, claims data/electronic health records and randomized clinical trials. Many of our studies are designed to meet regulatory requirements. Our proprietary technologies capture “real world” data using multiple methods ,e.g., EDC, telephone and in-person interviews, IVR systems, and hand-held devices. Proprietary analytic technologies enable efficient analyses across disparate healthcare databases, to inform protocols and to characterize patient and study populations.
