EpiConcept is an organisation carrying out epidemiologic research and developing web based software applications for construting health data bases and information systems.Since 11 May 2012,EpiConcept has been a state-certified “Personal health data hosting provider.” The certification has been granted by the ministry of health,after a substantiated recommendation by a CNIL (National Commission for informatics and personal liberties) certification committee for a duration of three years.Research activities focus on vaccine effectiveness and impact studies. EpiConcept assembles networks of EU countries and conducts multicentre studies (Rotavirus,Pneumococcus,Influenza) at hospital and GP level.
