The Department of Epidemiology of the Erasmus Medical Center is hosting 2 large population-based studies: the Rotterdam Study and Generation R. The Rotterdam Study of which a detailed description was published 1 includes very detailed clinical and pharmaceutical information on 14.926 elderly with up to more than 20 years of follow-up. DNA and genome-wide data are available and many pharmacogenetic studies have been performed and published.
