Pharmacy and Pharmacology center, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University (PharmCenter VU)

The Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University is one of the largest and most significant universities in Vilnius. It has four large Institutes which,in their internal structure,combine smaller departments,clinics,centers,departments and laboratories. The Faculty of Medicine employs about 800 members of pedagogical,scientific and support staff: 74 professors,124 associate professors,192 lecturers,about 120 researchers and others. Pharmacy and Pharmacology Center at Biomedical research institute is a newly developed yet ambitious research unit that focuses on pharmacoepidemiology and drug utilization research. The net within the Faculty and other Vilnius University research centers and clinics provides a unique possibility for shared knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration.
