Unidade Local de Saúde São João (ULSSJ)

The Local Health Unit of Santo António, EPE, (ULSSA) is part of the National Health Service and has reference clinical structures:
- Santo António University Hospital Center (CHUdSA) includes Santo António Hospital, Magalhães Lemos Hospital and Centro Materno-Infantil do Norte Albino Aroso;
- The Santo António Primary Health Care Centre (CCSPdSA) brings together the Gondomar Health Centres Group (ACeS Gondomar), the Porto Ocidental Health Centres Group (ACeS Porto Ocidental) and the Santo António Public Health Unit.
These clinical structures have a partnership with the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS) consolidated in the university teaching protocol and in the ICBAS Clinical Academic Center - Santo António.
