Lane Clark & Peacock LLP (LCP) is a tech-enabled actuarial and analytics consultancy with market-leading services in life sciences, pensions, investment, energy analytics and insurance. The LCP Health department works across Evidence Generation, HEOR and Market Access and specialises in generating rigorous and impactful real-world evidence (RWE).

The team are committed to delivering high-quality science that combines expertise in medicines, epidemiology, statistics, and advanced data science methods including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. LCP Health works closely with clients to generate actionable insights that inform decision-making for healthcare professionals, payers, HTA bodies, regulators, and policymakers. As part of the Evidence Generation services, LCP Health provides strategic consultancy on drug safety risk management planning as well as specific activities that can be used to identify and/or characterise safety concerns utilising innovative data visualisation and transformative technological methods to communicate evidence effectively. For example, LCP Health can offer descriptive epidemiological studies such as systematic literature reviews that can characterise the epidemiology of an indication or estimate background incidence rates; drug utilisation studies that can inform on conditions of use of new product and burden of disease, and a broad range of observational studies that can be used to quantify absolute and relative risks of identified and potential risks.

LCP Health has established partnerships with key data sources, including Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), Discover-Now, Optimum Patient Care Research Database (OPCRD) and UK Biobank. Additionally, LCP Health has developed Medicines Oracle, an advanced data aggregation platform that consolidates open data sources and provides advanced analytics and insights into the use and value of medicines.
