At the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB) we focus on research and teaching within the fields of epidemiology and biostatistics. Our research aims to increase knowledge about the causes, treatments, and outcomes of diseases, and encompasses clinical, molecular and genetic research as well as biostatistical methodology. In the research group of psychiatric and pharmaco-epidemiology, we focuses on the effectiveness and safety of pharmacological treatment for various psychiatric disorders, using real-world data and advanced pharmacoepidemiology approaches.
